What You Can Expect
You’ll be picked up at your hotel in the morning, and brought to one of our wonderful trails in the Monteverde area.
Depending on the others in your small group and your guides’ recommendation, you might go to the Monteverde Reserve, Santa Elena Reserve, Curi Cancha Reserve, Aguti Reserve, or SkyWalk bridges.? Upon arriving at your trail, your guide will pay the entrance fees, and then you’ll start your leisurely, slow pace guided forest walk.? (Tip: it’s a “walk,” not a “hike”!)? The terrain is generally accessible, though the Santa Elena Reserve has one trail that is wheelchair accessible.
Your approximately 3hr walk will entail walking small distances and stopping often, to observe, soak up information from your guide, and learn about the wonders of the cloud forest and other forests.? You’ll also get to use binoculars and a telescope to enhance bird and another wildlife viewing (wildlife never guaranteed).? After your tour, you’ll be dropped back off at your hotel.
