Wonderful food!!!

Chef Desiree was out of town during our late December, early January stay in Manuel Antonio, but she said her husband was a great chef, so we went for it! I can say that not only was he a superb chef, Juan was on time, so very nice and friendly, and he and Pamela made a great team. The food, the presentation, the cleanup---all as much as one could ask for. I highly recommend!!!

The Total Package!!!

We booked Chef Desiree two nights during our 6 night stay in Manuel Antonio. She was absolutely incredible! Not only were her culinary creations mouth watering, but she is such a fun person to be around! She is ingenious with her recipes and full of wonderful information about her beautiful country.
We had her lobster & shrimp, twice backed potatoes, stuffed chicken, steak, deviled eggs and many different veggies. Her desserts are fabulous! We loved the bananas foster and her fresh apple pie and ice cream. She made my parent's 70th birthdays very special.
When our villa's water was shut off, Desiree immediately called in for extra water and never panicked.
We had such a great time talking to her while she cooked - she is so engaging and just a sweet person all around. My mom and I would love to just hang out with her one night with a glass of wine and pick her brain.
I would recommend her services to anyone and will be jealous that you are enjoying her food and company!

Loved our Dinner

We had an amazing dinner with plenty of left overs. We enjoyed everything thing she made. From the fish to the appetizers to the desserts. We are still talking about it. A must do at least once during your vacation.

Desiree was the highlgiht of our trip!!

We just returned from an incredible trip to Costa Rica and thanks to amazing planning by my Mother in Law I have to say the house, the excursions and the travel plans were flawless. Despite all of that I'm sure that all of us would agree that her arranging to have Desiree handle the majority of our meals was pure genius. Every breakfast and dinner was amazing. From the taco bar buffet, to Italian Night, Chinese night and Surf & Turf. Desiree and her assistants surpassed all of our expectations. She showed up early to create all or our meals from scratch and suprised us all with appetizers such as ceviche with warm plantain chips. All meals were served right on time with plenty of food for our group of 14. She flawlessly met the tastes of everyone from 9 years old on up. She even made special dishes for my brother in law who doesn't like onions. Everybody loved visiting with her and she even helped call us a taxi and arrange for dinner at a restaurant for our one night out. The breaksfasts were equally good and always ready in time to get us on our way to various day trips. Her staff handled all the cleanup and even packaged up all leftovers and put them in the frig. This made for greatly reduced trips to the store while always ensuring there was something good to snack on in the house. Her services were a bargain and I wouldn't plan another trip to the region if I wasn't sure that Desiree was available first.

Best Ever!

It's been almost 4 years since we had her food and we still remember it as the best ever! She created a whole fiesta for us and it was a highlight of our vacation

Desiree the Chef was so warm and fun.

Desiree the Chef was so warm and fun. The food was excellent! We have left overs and ate them the next day for dinner. She was very pleasant and so gracious. She was just like part of the family. LOVE LOVE!

Highly Recommended!

We had Desiree at the discovery beach house for chef services and not only met a wonderful chef and enjoyed every meal, but made a friend as well, she is great , highly recommended!!!!
