A group of 10 of us did the Class III river rafting trip on the Savegre River and it was a blast. We ranged in age from mid 40's to early 60's and every single person had a great time. It took a little convincing to get some of the people to sign up, as they were a little concerned if it would be too much for them to handle, but I assured them it wouldn't (I've done Class III's before). Everyone of them was so thankful that they did it and agreed that it was one of the highlights of our trip.
All of the guides are so energetic, helpful, and informative - they're constantly entertaining and educating you. Usually a bus ride to the put in spot isn't too exciting but these guys make it an experience to remember by pointing out all the flora & fauna along the way (with some interactive experiences too). And then there's the "main event".....the river and stop at the waterfall. It was all so fun, there's an independent photographer that captures all of the excitement and smiles (you have the option to buy the photos at the end of the trip). If you are up for a little adventure this is a great tour.
Oh yeah, if you have a GoPro Camera be sure to ask them for a helmet with the mounting clip before leaving the office. Here's a little tip though, our protective case fogged up which I believe was caused by getting cooled off quickly going under the waterfall. Check if yours has done this before getting back in the raft and take that opportunity to clear it before getting back in the rapids :-)
