Limón is located in the northeast of the country and borders the north with Nicaragua and south with Panama. In the province is Puerto Viejo, which is a destination that many uses before going to Bocas del Toro, Panama.
It has extensive banana plantation which is the main export product of the country.
Limon is characterized by its white sand beaches and lush national parks that protect tropical rainforests and coral reefs.
One of the main attractions is the Tortuguero national park where you can appreciate the spawning of sea turtles and have the opportunity to see more than 300 species of birds such as toucans. This park should be explored through its water channels, either by boat or by kayak to have the best view of the fauna in this beautiful park.
The most visited beaches are Cahuita, Puerto Viejo, Manzanillo, Uvita Island and Punta Uva.
