Corcovado National Park tour
Join us on a unique wild experience to Corcovado, the place that National Geographic has claimed to be the "Most biologically intense place on Earth". You'll make your way down to San Pedrillo or Sirena Station in Corcovado National Park on an exciting river-coastline cruise. In the park, you'll hike through the rainforest alongside sloths, ant-eaters, tapirs, 4 species of monkeys, peccaries, Scarlet Macaws, and felines. It is a lifetime experience for adventurous eco-travelers who want to explore and are willing to travel paths with a certain degree of difficulty to witness the wonders of Osa Peninsula.

Highlight of my vacation
This was the highlight of my trip to Costa Rica. I would absolutely recommend Manuel’s tours! Corcovado hiking was unlike the other national parks I had visited in Costa Rica: there were few tourists and it was not developed, so you are more remote and connected to nature. Getting to Corcovado from Manuel Antonio requires a bit of work, but it was well worth it and I would do it again in a heart beat. During the tour of Corcovado, Manuel gave detailed accounts of the animals’ habits and fun facts about them. He also had a phone app with sounds, pictures, and details about the animals we were seeing. If I heard something, he would pull up a picture of what was making it, so we could search for it together. During the tour I saw Fer-de-Lance viper, spider monkeys, scarlet mccaws, sloths, capuchins, howler monkeys, toucans, puffbirds, trogans, coati, and so much more. He took pictures during the tour and airdropped them to me at the end, so I could concentrate most on just enjoying the experience rather than trying to get the perfect pictures, which I really appreciated. Additionally, without me even having to ask, he took pictures of me throughout the day, which I was so grateful for since I didn’t have a travel partner to snap pics of me on the tour! These ended up being my favorite pics because he has a great eye for capturing great angles and moments.
There was a boat taxi ride from Sierpe to Serena station and, this being whale season in Costa Rica, we were blessed with the presence of a momma and baby humpback whales. We were able to stop for about 30 minutes to watch and observe the whales which was so special! Although this wasn’t an official part of the tour, this was certainly one of the highlights of the day! Such a bonus to stop and watch the whales along the way.
Lunch was delicious and served at the rangers station next to the park; fresh fruit, tamales, burritos, and dessert.
This tour was the highlight of my entire trip through Costa Rica.
