Sunset Sails offers Snorkeling, Dolphin, and Whale watching in Manuel Antonio Costa Rica.
Enjoying a Catamaran Sunset Tour in Manuel Antonio Costa Rica is the same as being on our 49 ft Trimaran which offers plenty of shade and space for all passengers.
As your boat glides through the water, you will likely encounter Dolphins, which love to swim in our bow wake. Occasional Giant Sea Turtles and whales are a special treat when they appear.
Of course, one of the real highlights of our Sunset Cruise is the Sunset. As the sun sets into the ocean horizon, it often creates spectacularly beautiful displays of color. It’s a perfect, romantic ending to a beautiful day in “Paradise”.

For those who are unfamiliar with a Trimaran, it is very similar to a Catamaran. In fact the only big difference between the two, is that the Trimaran has a main hull and two smaller outrigger hulls, while a Catamaran has two hulls.

the crew was attentive to us at all times, the boat is super nice, we could see the dolphins and the price for the tour is quite good, without a doubt it was a great adventure
Sunset Sail Tours team always take great care of our clients. Our clients are greeted at the office located at the Marina and escorted to the catamaran or the sailboat. Chris, Brian, Alex, and Captian Kiliko are a fun crew and make sure everyone has a great time.
They offer drinks, a little history about the area and do a stopover for some snorkeling and water slide adventures. Wrap up the tour with a nice hot lunch of fish, chicken or veggie dishes. We love working with these guys. They do a great job of making sure everyone is very well taken care of while on the tour.
Fun tour and the crew was great. I liked that it wasn't a huge party boat. It felt more intimate.
Great tour, the day we went was unfortunately very windy and rained toward the end, but nevertheless it was great! The captain and staff were all so accommodating, friendly, and fun. My husband and I got seasick halfway through :( but the staff were so helpful and made sure we were alright. The provided meal is excellent (we had mahi mahi, vegetables, and rice), and the free drinks were a plus! We weren't able to see any dolphins, but the snorkeling at the end was fun and a great end to the tour.

Had a great time on this sail - friendly staff and the dinner served was very tasty (fresh fish or chicken). We sailed for about 4 hours until sunset stopping to snorkel before we had dinner. There was about 20 people on our boat and the staff were very accommodating. The only downside was they had a photographer on board but they never offered the photos afterwards.

Our family made a reservation with planet dolphin the night before where they ensured us we would be in the small boat with less than 30 people, as requested. When we arrived they told us that they put 40 kids on our boat and therefore put us on the huge boat with 80 people. We were about to go home disappointed when a guy from sunset sails approached us. We ended up getting on the boat just in time for the afternoon tour. There was about 21 people on board- and all of them very friendly. We saw a Mother humpback whale and her baby, and a school of dolphins. After snorkeling and being fed a delicious meal we watched the sunset over the ocean. The crew was friendly and very enthusiastic. We could not have ended up in a better situation and the people on this boat made the experience one to remember. Thank you Sunset Sails for saving the day!
