I am disabled and have very little to no use of one leg, but really wanted to parasail. I met Melanie on the beach after my local friend told me very specifically who to look for. She explained everything and even did some testing to see if I'd be able to tolerate the harness. Then we waited for the right moment. I still needed to have a breeze to be able to get this 240# old body up! Well, I can't say enough good things about Aguas Azules. Melanie, the owner wanted to make sure I would be able to have a safe ride if I was able to do it at all. They took a lot of time making sure everything was right and safe. I appreciated this so that one, I would be safe and two, that I wouldn't pay for something that I couldn't experience the whole experience. They also asked about my pain if I was to get on the jet ski at the end. They thought it might be best if I swam because of the bumpy ride and my back problems. When I was coming down they had 2 people in the water waiting for me. They helped me get the harness off and started with me as I swam in. They also had a guy come out with my walking cane. When we got to the break they even got behind me to block the waves. I have very poor balance so I used my cane on my right side and the shoulder of one guy on my left and the guy on my right held on to me. They were AMAZING!!!
Now, for the ride. It was beautiful. I reminded be of Jurassic Park and I could envision a dinosaur reserve there. So, so beautiful!!! It took me about half the ride to trust the harness. I was holding on tightly at first. I was looking around and thanking God for the beauty I was seeing. Once I trusted the harness I leaned back and it was super comfortable. I went around MA and saw all the beaches, one of which I went to later. I can try to say how pretty it was but that is impossible. Now I wish I had bought a waterproof camera. I would have loved to take some shots from up there. It was such a smooth ride. They did the standard thing where they slow down and you get close to the water which was nice.
When we came back the driver bright me along the beach so he could drive through the 2 guys in the water. These guys were all true professionals. I highly recommend parasailing and I would use Aguas Azules.
