Zipy’s visit to Los Sueños Ocean and Golf Resort

Zipy had the opportunity to visit a world class Marriott Resort in Guanacaste. When arrived, Zipy meets Adrián Castro, a sales executive of the Marriott group with a warm welcome. After a couple of photos, Adrián gladly took Zipy on a tour of the premises, after showing him one of the standard rooms of 200 rooms available and 1 presidential suite, the team went to explore the 40 hectares of the resort. The buildings are designed in a blend of Costa Rican, Guatemalan and Spanish architectural influences with nuevo chic design. High ceilings resembling the catacombs of Europe while offering the natural colors bringing what Costa Rica has to offer in the guest rooms, incorporating the four elements through the art and furnishing and the technological marvel of motion detection air conditioner system, mobile check-ins, electronic and solar paneled open buses and golf carts to ordering a beer or a classic rose at the pool by using the Marriott App. Adrián was proud to announce that Los Sueños has received many awards and recognitions from not only the government but from ecological and environmental agents for their efforts to recycle, at the edge of the property, Zipy noticed a couple of flags proudly flowed in the ocean breeze.

Rancho Grande offers a wide selection of chicken, pork, and beef cuts, prepared fresh every day. The chicken selection not only offers different cuts but also different daily marinades. Chicken livers are available via pre-order. Madelyn, one of the owners, explained that they also offer organic chicken. When asked about the difference between a regular whole chicken and an organic one, she indicated that the color of the chicken is different, it is much yellower than regular range. They offer pork primal cuts, such as roast, tenderloin, chops and ribs. Don’t forget to preorder your smoked ribs on Fridays and Saturdays before they are all gone! Cafetto has been in operation since December 2, 2015 and in June 2018 they moved to a bigger location, across the street from Centro Comercial La Garza, to serve their clientele. The coffee shop has a modern atmosphere, with free Wi-Fi and fans to cool you off on a hot day. Jorge, Steven, and Beatriz will ensure that you will keep coming back. I know I have. My preferred choices for breakfast are the fully loaded omelet or one with veggies and cheese with a bit of heat, served with tostadas.

Christmas Party at Jardines del Rio

On December 16, a tree lighting ceremony was held, as one of two events to not just to celebrate Christmas but to begin a new tradition at Jardines del Rio project.
